To strengthen our proven testing and diagnostic procedures, and to confirm proper functionality at all levels of operation, we check the injectors electronically for current draw and pulse them from 600 to at least 10 000 rpm and sometimes as high as 20 000 rpm..

Fuel injector get dirty or become clogged due to many factors some of which are hydrocarbons and additives, which all forms part of today’s fuels. Improper use of fuel additives and in tank cleaners, dirty fuel, fuel filters that collapse due to water in the fuel, poor maintenance, and many other factors contribute to this problem. All vehicles are vulnerable to injector clogging, but the ones that are most vulnerable and most likely to experience drivability and emissions problems are the older ones. Almost all of today’s computer controlled engines monitor one or two oxygen sensors, placed in such a way that it can only analyze the combined exhaust gases and not each cylinder, thus averaging the air fuel ratios. This can cause some cylinders to run leaner and other cylinders to run richer, causing all kinds of drivability issues and in some case even catastrophic engine failure. Dirty fuel injectors or clogged fuel injector can and will cause catastrophic failure

How can you clean what you can not see?

Fuel injector cleaning chemicals, fuel tank additives and fuel rail induced injector cleaners more often than not does not do a proper job of cleaning your fuel injectors. In some instances some of the products might even be harmful to components such as expensive catalytic converters and in other instances might actual cause the injector to clog by filling the filter basket with debris. There is also no way to determine or confirm, if the flow patern has been corrected after the on vehicle chemical clean.
